The Chester Eagles have landed.

Greetings humans.

I shall take advantage of having the day off to let you know that the had a lovely flight ✈and arrived safe and sound in Valencia. Reea made sure no one got lost and everything went well. Alicia, our contact here, came to pick us up at the airport and gave us a little more information regarding our schools, how to get there and what will be expected of us this week. She was really helpful as we settled in nicely into our flat in Valencia downtown.
We took advantage of the day off to explore and head straight to the beach as we went out for dinner and had our first chats in Spanish with Valencians. 🌞 As it was Sunday, they recommended that we go to El Cedro, an area well-known for its numerous bars and restaurants...and for its tapas.
This morning, I waved the kids goodbye and wished them a good first day at school, I hope everyone will have a good start and a positive experience too in Gandia, Moncada and A Coruña. In case some of you encounter some rowdy kids today or this week, try and keep this one in mind... "In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you."

Pásalo bien!
😘 Haroun
